Spotted on the Trail

A few sights from evening walks on my neighborhood nature trail. During our stay at home order, which will be lifted as this posts, it’s been the highlight of my day.

Copperhead Snake
Wary robbin
Sunbathing turtles
Watching the rise and fall of the creek’s waterline after a storm
Much lower a day later!
The woods are lush and green now, they usually dry out and turn brown by August.

  1. Very green! We’ve had SO much rain here, we’re pretty green too, and it’s going to be ages before my husband can get back in his garden. And it’s definitely Copperhead season–lots of folks running in to them on their nature walks. We’re glad our lift in restrictions, while not on a lot of things, includes boating. We can now get back out on the water, which is nice for Spring. Hope you’re well!
