Abandoned Stamp Mill

Peering into the reconstructed stamp mill at Reed Creek Gold Mine. The Mine is open year round, but the stamp mill was closed for the season.

When the mine was still active, the stamp mill would have been used to pound white quartz into smaller pieces that would have been sifted for gold.
