3 Line Tale 9

Patrick leaned over the long table crowded with books, meticulously scanning each one. He took his time, even though the pop up sale would be closing soon, and just being caught browsing held considerable risk. 1. With all of your exercises in brevity, like this three-liner, you’d be good at PitMad (pitch madness) which I did today, tweeting out a brief blurb of my novel MS in the hope an agent will want to snatch it up. Kind of a bust, but kinda interesting to pare down a hook to 280 characters or less!
