This week I find myself traveling to Massachusetts (where I grew up) for the funeral of my husband’s stepfather. It’s strange and surreal to be back after five years so unexpectedly, so for now all I can offer is a photo of an autumn rainbow I shot a few years ago while we say goodbye.
Strange Happenings This Week:
Wednesday, November 14th- Celebrate the publishing of Moby Dick today in 1851 by cracking open this literary classic.
Saturday, November 17- Not only do the annual Leonid meteor shower peaks tonight, but Asteroid 3 Juno reaches opposition and peak visibility, glowing brighter than it has since October 1983. Best time to view both is between 2am-5am.
